2018. Silver Gelatin Photographs, darkroom printed on warm-tone fiber paper and selectively sepia-toned. Beeswax, wooden frames, gold paint.

This project plays with religious iconography to expand and reimage where divinity resides in our lives. For many, the most relatable and intimate experiences of divine love don’t occur within the framework of religious experience - but rather in the friendship of our animal companions. These images seek to honor those experiences and elevate the daily, messy, and fur-filled as holy.
